The Hamilton County Circuit Court
The Hamilton County Circuit Court is a court of general jurisdiction handling major felony criminal matters, civil cases, probate, and appeals from lower courts. The Hamilton County Superior Courts
Hamilton County currently operates seven Superior Courts, No. 1 through No. 7, with two additional courts, No. 8 and No. 9, authorized by the Indiana General Assembly and expected to begin operations with elected judges taking office in 2027.
